Working intuitively and improvisationally, each new surface is like a gift of limitless possibility. Besides acrylic paint on canvas, mixed media collage and monoprinting on wood panel and papers are other favorite mediums. Inspiration comes from many artists including Richard Diebenkorn, Wayne Thiebaud, Elaine deKooning and Krista Harris. Abstract visual qualities in nature, architecture and aerial views of Earth are reference materials readily available.

All art work is original. Canvases are gallery wrapped, wired and ready to hang. Sides of the canvases are painted to give the piece continuity and a finished look.

"There is so much I want to do, see, hear, fulfill, find out about, run to, investigate." Helen Frankenthaler

"I paint from remembered landscapes that I carry with me and remembered feelings of them, which of course become transformed.
I could certainly never mirror nature. I would like more to paint what it leaves me with." Joan Mitchell
